Why choose electrolysis over laser?

It started over 35 years ago...

My embarrassment from unsightly hair taught me to perceive stress, emotions, and health matters differently. A desire to share this information led me to compile my book series which offers a greater scope than most magazines provide, and focuses on mind-body techniques to ease challenging life lessons. Experts are frequently misquoted, which can lead to consumer confusion. However, this series contains a wealth of trusted expert knowledge to educate consumers on hair removal methods to attain the best results possible. Learn to understand medical conditions, potential side effects, and safety concerns in order to control skin reactions and avoid injuries. These methods are explained in detail in The Hair Removal and Skin Care Safety Resource Guide.

Emotional, physical, or environmental stress such as insomnia, allergies, anger, and extreme noise or weather conditions cause problems with the way skin responds to products and hair removal treatments.

The intimacy of talking about certain areas of unwanted hair growth intimidates some people. This can result in an overlooked medical concern. Hair growth can be more than a cosmetic concern, and may indicate a deeper problem.

What causes skin damage besides bad technique?

Throughout 28 years of clinical experience, I have seen nightmarish consequences result from hair removal. Consumers are relatively unaware of the range of hazards involved in with hair removal, and how to avoid them. Expert education is therefore the consumer’s best tool for better health and safety. Your body, mind, and skin are affected by stress. It's important recognize current health and skin conditions before beginning a procedure. Application of heat, chemicals, or wax would not normally injure the skin except under these conditions. Even a normal shave can cause burns.

Please explore the book index and table of contents to discover a broad array of health and beauty topics, plus preventative techniques for medical, salon, and self-treatment.
